Name: 2ND JOHN LEBON CLASSIC
Desc: This registration is for the Open tournament at 4801 Dreher Trail N West Palm Beach, FL 33405. NOTE: The tournament will take place in the STEM building, the large white building across from the Science Center. We are ever inspired by the players in the chess community who show up week after week, year after year. Without players like John Lebon there would be no chess professionals and we honor weekend warriors by continuing this yearly tournament tradition. ************************************************************** The tournament will consist of 3 games of G/25;5. Round times are sharp: 6:00pm, 7:05pm, 8:10pm. There is one section for this event OPEN. In the event we have more than twelve players the tournament will be split into two sections based on rating split. ************************************************************** Entry fee: $30 by Monday evening, $35 after, Prizes: 1st: 25%, 2nd: 15%, U1800: 10%, U1200: 10%, Senior Prize: Free Entry to next event, Junior Prize: Free Entry to next event. Prizes paid through PayPal to registration email unless otherwise specified with organizer before leaving the playing site. All players must be current US Chess members in order to compete. Please bring your own chess set and clock.
